日本で18店舗ほど展開している八天堂がシンガポールに2017年1月に開店し、今週初めて行ってきました。シンガポールの方々にとってくりーむパンはあまり馴染みがないかもしれませんが、日本人にはなんとなく懐かしい美味しさです。
シンガポール以外の海外拠点は韓国（5店舗）、台湾（1店舗 – 一時閉店）、フィリピン（3店舗 – 一時閉店）[2017年5月5日現在、八天堂ホームページより] ですが、シンガポールはTanjong Pagar Centreの店舗が初となります。
日本と同じく「カスタード」「生クリーム＆カスタード」「小倉（あずき）」「抹茶」「チョコレート」の5種類のくりーむパンを楽しめます。毎月季節に合わせた限定商品もあり、繰り返しお店に行く楽しみもあります。店内にはテーブル席もあり、コーヒーと一緒にくりーむパンを楽しんだり、サラダを楽しんだりできます。
お店へはTanjong Pagar MRTから直接Tanjong Pagar Centreへ抜け、エスカレーターかエレベーターで1階へ。一旦建物から出て左側に進むと左手にあります。
Went to Hattendo Cafe first time in Singapore. They have 18 stores in Japan. They serve pretty traditional Japanese style cream-bun which Singaporean may not familiar with the taste though.
They have 9 stores in overseas other than Singapore – 5 in Korea, 1 in Taiwan and 3 in Philippines [as of 5/May/2017 – though Taiwan and Philippines stores are temporary closed for renovations]. The one at Tanjong Pagar Centre is first store in Singapore.
They offer 5 different tastes “custard”, “fresh cream & custard”, “Azuki”, “Maccha” and “chocolate” cream-bun as same as Japan. They also have different limited taste each month. There are table seat for guest to have cream-bun with coffee or having quick salad meal.
The store is located at 1st floor of Tanjong Pager Centre.
